Apple Pie

3/4 Cup Sugar 1/4 Cup Flour
1 Tsp Apple Pie Spice 1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Dash Salt 6 Cup Thinly Pared Apples, Sliced
2 Tbl Butter  

Pastry for 9 inch pie. Heat oven to 425. Prepare pie dough. Stir together sugar, flour, spices and salt; mix with apples. Turn into pie crust; dot with butter. Cover with top crust. Cut slits in top crust. Cover edge with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Remove foil last 15 minutes of baking. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is brown.
