Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

1 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Butter, Softened
1 Pkg Cream Cheese 3 Oz 1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Almond Extract 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1 Egg Yolk 2 Cup Flour
3 Tbl Colored Sugar, If Desired  

In large bowl combine sugar, butter, cream cheese, salt. Almond extract, vanilla and egg yolk; blend well. Stir in flour until well blended. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 2 hours. Heat oven to 375. On lightly floured surface roll out dough to 1/8 thickness. Cut in to shapes. Place 1 in ch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 7 to 10 minutes. Frost and decorate cookies.
