Double Cheddar Corn Bread

1 Cup Yellow Corn Meal 3 Tsp Baking Powder
2 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded 1/4 Cup Oleo, Melted
1/2 Tsp Dry Mustard 1 Green Pepper, Cut In Rings
1 Cup Flour 1 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk 1 Egg, Beaten
4 Slice Crisp Bacon, Crumbled  

(1) sift together dry ingredients. (2) stir in one cup of cheese. (3) combine the milk, oleo and egg, add to dry ingredients, mixing until blended. Pour into greased 9 inch layer pan, top with remaining cheese. Bake at 400 until toothpick comes out dry when inserted into the center.
